its interesting to see that people actually read this thing...i ask a question and people actually respond...no one COMMENTS! but at least they IM me...=) guess cuz im always online anywayz =P

vivian and i on the train from budapest to zagreb...we didnt get reservations so we had to sit in the hallway...heehee

antonio aka sparky (about a year ago he was taking a bath...reached back and knocked the blowdryer into the tub...was electrocuted...died for 15 min before his mother found him and was able to bring him back (good thing shes a doctor) he lost hella weight and turned white...so now they call him sparky or pikachu)...after we finished the most delicious cevapi (interesting sausage and onion sandwich)
statue of tomislav...another friend we met was named tomislav (pictured later)...he said that half the kids in his elementary school classes were named tomislav...extremely nice guy...walked us back to our hostel the first night...tomislav was the first king of croatia

another church...on top of the hill
cannon tower...so the story goes...once the city was being attacked and the enemy was trying to depelete them of resources...they ran out of cannonballs so someone decided to put a chicken into the cannon...when the enemy saw this mistakenly thought that the city was doing so well that they could use chickens as ammunition that they left...so everyday at noon (or 1 i cant remember) they let off a fake cannon...heehee
church during the day...you could see the tips from almost everywhere in the city...too bad it was under construction...
park antonio took us to where we learned there was a HUGE american tv show called santa barbara?!?!
in the main square where we spent most of our time...got GREAT ice cream and used free internet =P
waiting for our bus...it was SO hot...we also got some duvec (potato pancakeish)...delicious
haha...thats viv, antonio, tomislav, and tomi's friend (the pizza delivery guy)
interesting group of people we met in zagreb...extremely friendly...extremely willing to talk to us and work on their english...at school theyre required to learn either english or german, so for most communication was not a problem...for many of them viv and i were also the first asians that they had ever met/seen...many of them also watch anime! what are the chances of that? so...great start for croatia =) next time...my favorite city of the entire trip =)
